Guest guest
Try doing a castor oil pack. It is done by saturating a cotton roll that will fit over the area of the liver and spleen with castor oil and then place a plastic bag over that. The next thing to do so that a hot water bottle doesn't get too hot to handle is to place a folded towel over the plastic bag and then a hot water bottle over that. To hold the heat long you can put another towel over the bottle to retain its heat. You should be able to get some relief doing this. You can also consider massaging the area of the instep of the foot to the center too. Actually to have that done while the castor oil pack is in place, by someone else, seems to help quite a bit. Guest guest
> Any ideas as to why the pain is still there? should I > have gotten out more stones the first try? Thanks. > I'm not sure just how bad the pain is that you may be having but I often had discomfort but a good feeling about the discomfort I got after a flush. I usually would only last a couple of days. There are various possibilities for pain after a flush with parasites being one of them besides the gallstones. Liver flukes and a little critter called Stenosing Papillitis. ( http://www-trauma.uth.tmc.edu/digestive/gallstone/gall6.html ) This can certainly be a cause of extreme pain too. Stuck stones just doesn't seem to be the primary cause of the excessive pain that one might get. There are few who really have pain after flushing, and it is quite possible that not having prepared for doing a flush by doing a parasite cleanse could lead to this happening. So, the best that can be done at this stage is such things as a castor oil pack and a parasite cleanse to see if that doesn't help in getting out a potential cause of the pain. Part of the problem with parasite cleanses is that most people don't eat enough roughage food and food which is soluble fiber so that the liver can deposit the waste as a bile salt in the waste matter. So, if you do a parasite cleanse be sure to eat foods that will support getting the toxins out as you seek getting parasites and other toxins out of your body. When parasites die they become a toxin because of the mater of which they are made decomposing. Dale
Guest guest
- Take a daily magnesium supplement with fibercon, metamucil or psyllium for daily constipation. If you increase the magnesium until you get the runs and then back down by one dose, you should be set for life! You can flush you colon easily with epsom salts or magnesium citrate, available at any drugstore. Good luck! You might want to get the flushing action going (I drink organic, unfiltered apple juice all day the " day of " , and eat apples if I need solid food) and usually by the time to do the epsom salts rolls around my stolls are already pretty liquid. I get boatloads of stones and feel great the next day. Guest guest
Hi nna...sorry about returning this note so late, was away for a few days. I have tried every possible laxative, metamucil, etc etc under the sun but the only thing that gets my stool to move is epsom salt. I'm just concerned that it may be doing some type of harm. I've tried finding info on the stuff but to no avail. I have been written off by 4 gastroenterologists about this severe constipation problem of mine. They have put me on no-fat, all-fiber, fruit and veggie diets galore...still nothing. My first liver flush only produced a few stones. Do you think a second one will be more? Anyhow...take care. Thanks for your previous response. --- Roseanna Conlon <roastzanna@...> wrote: <HR> <html><body> <tt> -<BR> <BR> Take a daily magnesium supplement with fibercon, metamucil or psyllium for <BR> daily constipation. & nbsp; If you increase the magnesium until you get the runs <BR> and then back down by one dose, you should be set for life!<BR> <BR> You can flush you colon easily with epsom salts or magnesium citrate, <BR> available at any drugstore.<BR> <BR> Good luck!<BR> <BR> You might want to get the flushing action going (I drink organic, unfiltered <BR> apple juice all day the & quot;day of & quot;, and eat apples if I need solid food) and <BR> usually by the time to do the epsom salts rolls around my stolls are already <BR> pretty liquid.<BR> <BR> I get boatloads of stones and feel great the next day.<BR> <BR> Hugs, Roseanna in NoCal; FMS/CFS always; hypothyroid (cytomel) 8/73, HG diet <BR> 3/99, wheat-free 3/99, guai/robinul 8/99, whey 4 tsp daily 04/01, amalgams <BR> out 6/01, 5 liver cleanses; caffeine-free 09/01<BR> <BR> <BR> _________________________________________________________________<BR> Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at <a href= " http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp " >http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp</a><BR> <BR> </tt> <br> <tt> Learn more from our experience, more then 200 liver flush stories:<BR> <a href= " http:///messages/gallstones-testimonials " >http://group\ s.com/messages/gallstones-testimonials</a><BR> <BR> Liver Cleanse Recipe: <a href= " http://www.CureZone.com/cleanse/liver/ " >http://www.CureZone.com/cleanse/li\ ver/</a><BR> <BR> Post message: gallstones <BR> Subscribe: & nbsp; gallstones-subscribe <BR> Unsubscribe: & nbsp; gallstones-unsubscribe <BR> <BR> Web Sites for more information:<BR> <a href= " http://CureZone.com/gallstones/ " >http://CureZone.com/gallstones/</a><BR> <a href= " http://www.liverdoctor.com/ " >http://www.liverdoctor.com/</a> <BR> <a href= " http://www.sensiblehealth.com/ " >http://www.sensiblehealth.com/</a><BR> <a href= " http://www.cyberpog.com/health/index.htm " >http://www.cyberpog.com/health/i\ ndex.htm</a><BR> <BR> List Unsubscribe: & nbsp; gallstones-unsubscribe <BR> Post message: gallstones <BR> <BR> Group page: <a href= " gallstones " >ga\ llstones</a> <BR> Group Archives: <a href= " http:///messages/gallstones " >http:///message\ s/gallstones</a><BR> <BR> To change your subscription to digest (receive up to 25 e-mails in just one single e-mail, once a day) send blank e-mail to: & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; gallstones-digest <BR> <BR> To change your subscription to NO-MAIL send blank e-mail to: & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; gallstones-nomail <BR> <BR> To change your subscription to NORMAL (receive each message separate) <BR> send blank e-mail to: gallstones-normal <BR> <BR> You are receiving this email because you elected to subscribe to the Gallstones group on 's groups. Guest guest
There's a flush I read that involves putting sea salt into warm water and drinking a quart first thing (like have it on your night table) that is supposed to clean you out and actually be beneficial. Bob Joy told me about it. I have his email if you want to write him. Another cleanse I plan to try soon is a quart of prune juice first ting in the morning, followed by alternating 8 oz. of organic apple juice (the kind with sediment) with 8 oz. of water with sea salt (a pinch per glass). You can do this for a whole day. Not only is it supposed to clear your colon, but pull a lot of toxins and mucus (which can constipate) with it. I plan to try it this weekend. I am so bloated and fat and I don't know why other than that my system is so sluggish.
