I'm leaving tomorrow to go home for my grandfather's funeral.

Apparantly mom's brother is still be snitty and I'm not sure how

things are with her sister. My step grandmothers jerk of a son and

his wife are also coming, but the jerk is only coming to ensure his

inheritance, not because he ever came to visit in the twenty years

they were married. His lovely wife is not even going to funeral.

is staying home on bereavement leave. The kids are not back in

school yet and there is no place for Gail or to go. I have two

friends her that are capable of taking them, but one has to take her

diabetic kid to the specialist dentist and his doc, and the other has

a funeral to attend on Friday. Fortunately with the family leave act

the school can't say anything about needing to stay home with

the kids so I can go.

I fly home on Monday the seventh.
