We had a former member in our group receive coverage for her

daughter's DOCbands (both) thru Tricare.

I tried searching the archives but the search isn't working properly,

anyhow, from my memory, she rec'd approval because she found

a " glitch " or a loophole in Tricare's policy. Do you know if your

baby exhibited signs of plagio at birth? Her daughter was born

with " congenital " plagiocephaly, meaning she was BORN with it. I

think she had to prove thru pictures and/or Drs notes that Mya had

plagio from birth. Tricare's policy stated they would not

cover " deformational " plagiocephaly, but being that she could prove

it was from birth, they covered both her DOCbands. I wish I could

find that post where she specifically explains it so well, but the

darn archives just aren't working right! I'll keep looking & I " ll

also email Christi (the mom) asking for help. She was more than

willing to help in the past
