Guest guest
....if you had the following conversation with someone in your family: I was talking to my dad last night (rubbing it in about the Cotton Bowl), and we got to talking about . I mentioned that he had bitten me yesterday--took my finger and stuck it in his mouth and bit down pretty darned hard after I told him not to hurt me (doing something else). My dad said that I should bite him back ( " If you would just bite him back, it would put a stop to that " ). I have learned not to argue with my dad about this stuff...he and I see it very differently, because I look at the sensory stuff and he thinks behavior control...so I didn't say much. He then said, " I'm telling you, if you will just do to him what he does to you, he'll stop. " I replied, " If I did to him what he does to me, they'd throw me in jail! " His response: " You're in jail now. " ???!!! How do you respond to a statement like THAT? Raena
