I can relate to your benzo withdrawal and your feeling

that you will not get better. It's difficult - a

million times more difficult than people who have not

taken these drugs could imagine. You should probably

take the supplements recommended by this group, but

what I really wanted to say was DO NOT go back on the

klonopin - it will NOT be better. Even though

withdrawing from benzos has been extremely difficult

and I still have many of the symptoms you described, I

feel better than when I was on the drugs and I feel

like I am continuing to get better. I think there's

hope for everyone.

Hi ,

Welcome to the group.

I have good news for you. You CAN get better. While you may be left

with some symptoms or some sensitivities, you will not be stuck

feeling this way forever. We have members who can tell you that when

they started doing the things recommended here, even a year or more

later, they started getting better. And your youth is on your side.

Take some time to read the materials we sent you when you joined.

These give a good introduction into how we do things here and will

help you get started eating properly and taking some basic

supplements, to support your body's efforts to heal. We're happy to

answer any questions you might have.

I'm glad you found us.

Kim

GERD is Gastro esophageal reflux disease. basically acid reflux. i

never had any sx of this until i started taking klonopin and after

being on it a couple months, i developed it when i didnt take my

evening dose.

i always felt like i needed to gag and i puked up stomach acid. it was

awful and i took it as a sign that i needed to get off the poison

because of what it was doing. unfortunately, i didnt know i needed to

do like a 6 month taper and instead tapered within a months time.

get them to write down all the things they think they are good at. that might

be hard for them.

you can put them into groups, making sure that they have a little of everything

in that group. (so they need each other) then give them a little task that

really needs each thing they are good at.

then.. put them into groups again - maybe the next day, but this time the groups

are all based on similar abilities. now - give them some task that they need an

ability that none of them are particularly strong in.

you can do this either way, first similar groups, then diverse or whatever. you

can be as creative as you like, either designing a little survey for them to

fill in to establish what theyare good at, or letting them report on their own,

right to using what you know about them already.

you can be as creative as you like with the tasks you design - from the same

task for each group, to different ones. you could incorporate phys ed - relays

- runners that are very strong - one in each group - then change it so all the

best runners are in one group.

or do a reading/math oriented thing.. or architectural design, whatever. it

could be a lot of fun to plan, take hours and hours, and ulitmately take them

only a few minutes.. but you'd have it for every class each year
