Guest guest
>>>Stevie only did it on the T.V. when watching his favorite videos. Finally this year he said " how do I get in there? " and we realized he was trying to go into the T.V. This stopped immmediately after we explained. !!!<<<< - What an " Ah-Ha " moment!!!! I think this is going to help quite a few people here!!! Jacqui never banged her head on the TV, but would look behind it often, like trying to find out where the characters were. She does this with pictures, etc. She looks at the front, the will look at the back to see what they " look like " in the back. Pretty clever. She has a wonderful imagination, and is able to use the concepts in English if you really work with her to understand them. I hate jocks too, but mainly because they think they're better than everyone else because of a God-given trait, nothing that they did. May we, Jacquie? Just practice, it comes. IM helps a lot because you HAVE to learn to type fast, or the other person gets bored. Hehe It was good to read from you, . No, I have not heard of the Buzzcocks, but I'll ask Jim when he gets home, he remembers everything and led a much less sheltered life than I. Guest guest
I have had several ball pits over the years. Avoid the inflatable ones. We currently have one that is made of wire and parachute material, but I do not think it would stand up to a real big adult-sized kid! I know that you can buy them from OT catalogues for a couple thousand (OUCH!) and those are really really nice, but then that is really really expensive. I think the idea of making one is great; the balls are easy to come by. Salli

He actually does very well at school for a kid > with his challenges , This part about your son is just like my 11 1/2 year old who's in 6th grade. I really don't think the teachers get it at all when you see some of the stupid assignments they give. Who do they think is actually going to be doing most of the work on this type of thing anyway! My son is just over 4 1/2 feet tall and only about 65lbs. He is a very selective eater. He also is bordering on encopresis right now. He's always had a slow bowel, but it's worse lately.
