Guest guest
LOL! That's my prob! I am slowly being suffocated by all the garbage and debris in my house! Clean? What's that? I know that is not what you were getting at, Challis! um...let's see, don't mix ammonia and bleach together--oh no! did that one some years ago...guess ive not been the same since! Ok...more venting...if you guys are not sick of me doing that....so, on one hand, neuro wants me to switch off copaxone and onto tysabri; but am seeing a MS specialist he is referring me to-March 7. ok...in the meantime, my hub has bugged me, and i've finally given in--to go to a holistic dr., Ash, in posh Fifth Ave. office, overlooking Central Park. I mean, he's a good guy, has a great reputation, charges TONS of money for his supplements, office visits, blood, urine and saliva testing...$3000 first vist; $560 today....dunno...He told me I had an extremely high "C reative protein" test, which is associated with coronary problems, but moreso, points to a serious inflammatory system, which in his mind=MS. He thinks/knows my trig. neuralgia is part of this inflammation, and all i need to do, is continue with a candida diet--protein, veggies, fruit, nuts, seeds. No dairy, no carbs, sugars, etc. And continue with his regimen of supplements and vitamins--B12, quercitin, glutamine, coQ10, buffered vit. C, magnesium--he believes my spasticity is due to depleted magnesium, and told me to stop the flexoril. He basically wants me off all meds and believes he can 'cure' me of MS and TN...So, what do i do? Get off all meds, and try his method for a year? and then reassess? I am so confused, and don't know which way to turn. Guest guest
Um Challis~if I'm in the same boat as your Mom, and I'm leaning heavily...i'm gonna tip us both over!! ROFL! duh-hey~me brain always tends to warp stuff! I kinda know that's not what you meant...right...it isn't, is it??? Kids got their snow day, and...are proceeding to drive me NUTS!! The one stinkin day I could sleep--they got me up!!!! I took a bunch O supplements the doc gave me yesterday, and I musta peed about 4 or 5 times last night...and felt all 'revved' up--which my hubby was excited about (LOL), but the 3 kids that were home (1 in college, other had sleepover cause she was SURE there'd be a snow day~lol), so--the 3 kids squished in our room on one of those memory foam mattresses on the floor, with a heater type mattress on top, so they'd stay warm lying on the floor, with loads of covers ontop!--so no nookie... /Getting back to your original thing, Challis--I'm thinking I'll go off the copaxone, and just do the supplements, diet and vitamins for 6 mos to a yr. See how I feel. If i don't progress, maybe I'll stay with that. If I get worse, my thought is to then get on the LDN. HAPPY<HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to ALL!!! My hubby, in keeping with this new stinking candida diet--did NOT (GRRR!) give me chocolate this year...but a lovely bouquet of flowes--ahhh, nice...and a small can of NUTS!! guess its the thought that counts! LOLOL> > HUGS,> Challis> > NOTE: Next time you want to google something, use: Goodsearch.com. There is an account set up for Grace Fellowship and all searches using Goodsearch (which uses Yahoo's search engine) will result in about one cent being donated to Grace Fellowship. Not much, but it can become significant if we and others we tell consistently use Goodsearch for all our searches. For example, 100 people using Goodsearch for two searches a day will net us $730.00 a year. When you go to the site just type in Grace Fellowship Orthodox Presbyterian Church as the benefactor. This is right below the search bar. You can also change the benefactor with each search and help other non-profits of your choice (if they have an account). Guest guest
Perhaps you are remembering the year I gave your ex-husband three cans of nuts for Christmas. And only nuts... Guest guest
Akiba!!! YOU so CRACK me up! Well, it's funny...I usually stuff my bird with LOADS of garlic, I mean tons of it! But I thought we were all out..which is odd, 'cause we always have garlic in the house...SO, this time, I took crystalized ginger cubes, stuffed them in there! LOL! and just took my dried tarragon--cause it is supposed to be real good tasting with chicken..and rubbed it between my hands, so it opens it up--the flavor of the tarragon--and put lots on top and all around the chicken. Then I popped in a couple of chicken buillon cubes and 2 or 3 cups of water in my crock pot, and cooked it for like I dunno about 6 hrs or so. Quite yummy. Hubby enjoyed and so did I , with our avocado slices-yum. That was dinner! Now my young son, brought in his bowl of snow--a huge bowl of snow! And is making snow cream! You have had snow cream everyone, yes? If not, here is our recipe--bunch O snow, add a few teaspoons of pure vanilla extract. Then the rest of the 'design' is up to you. We have tried, hazelnut coffee creamer, which is what I think will add, as he likes it alot; honey is also good with the vanilla..and for the adults--when we were drinking--ah, eggnog and rum, s, ahh...those were the days!!! Favorite wintertime treat! The best though, was when we lived in our old house, and tapped our sugar maple trees--it was like Little House on the Freakin Prairie! I'd go out, pregnant out to there, pull all these, you know, the HUGE water cooler bottles, my hub would get them from somewhere? And we'd tap into those, and man, those were heavy! Then we'd boil it down. Did you know it takes 35 gallons of maple water to boil down to 1 gal of syrup? That's why it is so expensive! But that was the best on snow cream--hot, homemade maple syrup on top!! yummers! ok, everyone hungry??? guess it's time for my NUTS! love to all, kate Re: Kate -- An opportunity & huge decisionTo: MSersLife > Can I have the tarragon recipe? Thanks for your consideration and God bless. Attachment: vcard [not shown]

Guest guest
Cassy, that's so funny about having someone punch your arms or legs for pain relief. When my arms or legs hurt, I ask my oldest son. He is always afraid he'll hurt me, but it always feel better afterwards. I thought I was the only one who did that. lol.
