Guest guest
> Have you checked Ferritin? > I was just reading something you wrote some time ago about high T3 meaning not enough cort. Could that be the problem? I took 20 mg with 10 mcg T3 first thing this morning and felt the need for more 2 hrs later. Took 5 or 10 then 10 just 2 hrs later because I will take more T3. That may last 2 0r 3 hrs. Dorothy
Guest guest
Thanks, I think I will do both. And Happy Birthday. I think this is the right day. If not or anyway, may all your days be happy. Guest guest
Would'nt that have shown up in CBC labs? Mine have always been normal. Dorothy > Dorothy, > Check out www.ironoverload.org and google iron overload for more > resources. Ferritin of 194 is very high, and high ferritin interferes > with thyroid too. Guest guest
Didn't this stuff change awfully fast? I was on T3 only for about 5 or 6 days. Maybe my RT3 isn't a big problem. I did the labs then because I felt so awful and figured everything would be worse and the doctor would see what mess I was. Instead it was all better and I still am short of breath and chest is achy. Not to mention feeling totally wiped out. Do I have " tissue resistance " or is there such a thing as cortisol resistance? Backing off 0n the T3 a bit, getting a tiny bit loose in the bowels. Maybe I can dose it that way. Guest guest
More questions. Should I drop back to the 30 mcg T3 I was taking at the time of the tests? Will I have problems from too much T3 buildup? Just a bit of looser stool yesterday late. I did 40 yesterday, with about 110 mg cort. That stopped the symptoms and they were less this morning. woke at 4 and couldn't go back to sleep, so I am a bit shaky from being tired or too much cort. Should have taken 5 mcg T3 at 4 when I first woke, I think. I will be watching for my temps to go up. Guest guest
> OK let's back up here. You quit 4.5 grains Amrou then got labs 5 days later? > What were you takign? I stopped the 4.5 gr 1 wk before, took 1.5 the next day with 25 mcg T3. Still felt terrible and felt that was wrong, so I went on 30 mcg T3 only for 5 days. I did the labs then because I wanted to know how bad I was. Should have done them the previous week probably. So they aren't telling me anything because it's too soon? Guest guest
> Yes oyu need ot allow the T4 to leave your body if nothing else. Thanks, for keeping me on a realistic track. I tend to get ahead of myself. Do I have to get rid of all the T4 and RT3? Dorothy
