Well meaning but clueless friends and strangers tell me that I just need to re-train my muscles or try a little harder or eat the right food. Or, "what's your problem; we all get tired." They just don't understand. I wonder if the same people who don't understand our situation would have told Reeve "Of course, you're in a wheelchair, Chris.
