Guest guest
Jenn, Stop and think why you want to lose weight. Then get out your atkinsbook and reread it. Try not to dwell on the mistakes. I am struggleing right now too but I am not going to give up. We can do this. Just take one meal at a time. Get all those bad things out of the house. Guest guest
Jenn, I am there with you my friend. It is a real big challenge for me too. I started writing down everything I ate today for the first time and let me tell you, it didn't help much. Oh, I did manage to pass up cake and cookies that were at work, but I am still eating too many carbs. I can't seem to resist the sugar demon either, but yesterday I had a 4 pound gain and that put me over the 5 pound limit I was allowing myself. Why 4 pounds in one day is something I do not understand, but I am hoping it comes off as quickly as it went on. Trying to be good is near impossible. I am going to try on my " fat pants " tonight to remind myself of what I don't want to let happen again. If that does not motivate me, I don't know what will. I wish you luck and if you figure out the key, please let me know. Jean
Guest guest
Same here Jen & Laverne, but like you said we can make. We have to make it for our own health. Not for someone else, not to rub it into someones nose (even though that will be good. I can think of a few classmates I wouldn't mind seeing later down the road) anyway.. I have jogged and I have exercised for an hour.. I feel great.. The jog always refreshes the mind.. Clears out the old attic..lol We are trying a new work out program, and so far I am loving it.. Will let you guys know how the rest goes.. I made atkin rolls today, made them with cottage cheese, i have come to find out. That I would rather use the cream cheese and the sour cream. Do not like the chunks left in them from the cottage cheese.. None the less, Ray and love them. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Day!!! God Bless,

Guest guest
No that is not an abbreviation for ultrasound or anything else. The only thing that could have growth which could be aerobic, anaerobic, fungal or anything else would be cultures. So the doc is saying cultures. Margaret >>> 03/30/01 08:09PM >>> Hi All, Is ultras a term used for ultrasounds? The doc dictates: There was no growth from aerobic or anaerobic UTRAS of the gallbladder (she was on antibiotics preoperatively). Guest guest
I wouldn't think the words " aerobic " and " anaerobic " would pertain to ultrasounds. This would bring to mind cultures...also " no growth " but I don't know what UTRAS would be. I check the abbrev. book and the lab book and there's no listing. Guest guest
Bev- Before you poke out your eye, how about venosities, which is a plural form of venosity. Per Taber's the definition is condition in which there is an excess of venous blood in a part, causing venous congestion. Also here is a link: http://www.graylab.ac.uk/cgi-bin/omd?venosity Listen again and see if that is it. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. Bev >>
Guest guest
Bev, The only thing I can think of would be " benign lesions " or " benign adhesions " . Sorry I'm not much help with this one!
