Guest guest
, I understand your point here totally, but time is of the essence and Philip has lost A LOT of correction time with this obviously clueless ortho. Guest guest
I'm sorry, but that's not very comforting considering he's our ortho too. I don't see any harm in trying to find solutions with the ortho. What is there to lose? > > Hi , > > > > I'm sorry things have been so tough on you. Guest guest
Hi : How has been progressing in her helmet? Hope she's been doing well!! I think what Dustie was saying was that the orthotist wasn't returning 's phone calls or really addressing her concerns, that's the impression at least I've gotten from her posts. I know I had an ill fitting band when my daughter began her treatment, I was VERY patient in trying sooo hard to work with our orthotist & band, too patient. I waited for 3 mos for her head to correct, which it was only worsened from her band For us, that's what we lost. Time is so important when dealing with these cranial orthosis, and time is something that you can never get back. This is of course a very personal decision for , and everyone in the group will support whatever she decides to do, no matter what. It's just upsetting hearng about her orthotist not returning calls & such. No offense was meant to be made. Our apologies if they were. Guest guest
, I didn't mean to make you upset by my comments. I lost 1 1/2 months worth of correction time due to inexperienced orthos and ill fitting bands. My daughter did not get the correction that we hoped for due to this reason (I think). I would give anything to get that time back so that my daughter could have possibly rec'd more correction. I really am sorry that I offended you. Time is the only thing she has to lose, to answer your question. Dustie > > > Hi , > > > > > > I'm sorry things have been so tough on you.
