Guest guest
Mike, It is if your baby doesn't have torticollis. Tort babies shouldn't be put in swings, bouncers or exersaucers. > Once you get the helmet or band, is it ok to place the child in a > bouncy seat or swing? > > Thanks, > Mike (Aidan's Dad)
Guest guest
It should be ok as the helmet/band is protecting the headshape. My daughter didn't have tort and was older so she was out of the bouncy seats and swings. Guest guest
Hi, The Cranial Tech. clinician who fitted our son's band at the first appointment told us that lying on his back on a flat surface would not be a problem but to keep him out of the swings/bouncy seats etc. as they still put an upward force on the band and thus on the head. However, I would assume that a few minutes here and there in one of those devices would make very little difference.
