Guest guest
Each either falling asleep or being sent off to bed. Gail was sent first. fell asleep before Gail I think, but perhaps it was after. chose to go and nursed before falling. Chris drifted off and the new year fell. " Ah, I thought, for a moment of peace " as I chatted with Salli and . We were the only ones left up at that point. But alas, it was not to be. woke to nurse shortly after fell asleep. I nursed him well blithely assuming that a small relaxed body and closed eyes indicated a sleeping child. Foolish mother. was not amused at all when I tried to lay him down. Why should he give up the arms of his mother for a meer icelandic sheepskin? This, he decided was an ideal opportunity to have some time with mother all to himself. He had slept just enough to feel quite refreshed and was well ready for a good song and dance routine with his favourite movie, Shrek. It is now 3:30 and he is near the end of the second viewing with no indications whatsoever that he is tired. All my silent thoughts of " sleep baby, sleep " continue to fall on a deaf sixth sense. Wishful thinking is probably more like it. On the up side I am getting the last of the laundry done. Happy New Year. May this year bring peace and blessings to your households. What were you thinking? (How very, very well I know this frustration...) > Wishful thinking is probably more like it. On the up side I am > getting the last of the laundry done. Woo! We have about 6 loads of clean laundry - in the playpen. I can't put it away during the day b/c Matt is sleeping in the bedroom where all but Mikey's clothes belong. I can't put it away in the evenings b/c Mikey, er, 'helps' by opening the dresser drawers and pulling all the clothes out of them. I have to wait for the weekend so Matt can help. This also means Gabe is napping on the couch, where he is frequently awakened when Mikey decides to pull all the couch cushions off. Ugh...You know what, while I'm thinking about it right now, I'm going to set up a nap corner for him in here. Thanks, ! I do hope you got some sleep... -Sara. Guest guest
So, , you actually did stay up as late as and I. A pity PA doesn't have someone a couple of hours off-shore from you. Hawaii perhaps? Where are our Aussie members when we need them? Salli
