went to the district today

i didn't even bother with a phone call, just went in person. i requested an

independent eval, an FBA, and an IEP meeting. they said tho, that to get the

independent eval, i had to first disagree with their eval, but i said the

school psych told me he couldn't get it done or it would take weeks and

weeks. so, i guess there is a new psych who goes around to all the schools

and she's real good with the younger kids so they will have her do it. i

said that was fine, just as long as SOMEBODY did it. so that's where we are

right now with that. hopefully things will move along quickly. thanks

everyone for your help and advice!!!

I'm so glad that you did this. I know I Im'd you that, but I thought I

would post anyway. I'm still going to be on the lookout for an elementary

IEP, so that we can compare your IEP and that one.
