Guest guest Posted March 6, 2007 Report Share Posted March 6, 2007 n, when I had the MRI, the neuro said that the spaces in the brain (can't think of the name now.), are a little too small, and might be contributing to the headaches. Too much pressure build up from the CSF, in such a small place. Brain surg. to help. NOT! The thought scares the heck out of me. And he also couldn't be sure that was what was causing them. If I have a major dizzy spell (which I had one in church yesterdy morning) then after the spell is over, a headache emerges and takes a day or two to go away. At first it's a horrible headache and after a few hours fades a bit but never completely goes away. I'm supposed to be keeping a headache journal and this is when I started noticing the pattern. I thought my heart was going to come out of my chest. So probibly(sp) Wouldn't it be great to be able to at least say HA once to them!!!!!. mindythores wrote: -Hey ,I wonder if they gave you Vioxx. Sudden fever reaching 103 which continues on for 3 days during which she complains of headaches. She places her hands on TOP of her head and pushes down saying the top of her head hurts. I've been giving motrin whenever she complains and also to control the fever when it gets high. Fever broke on Monday...today is Wed and she has another headache. She's laying on the couch with a pillow on top of her head and is pushing the top of her head into the arm of the couch. Our DAN won't be back in the office til Monday. How old is she? I am wondering if the inflammation affected her cranial sutures leaving a residual headache. Also, sometimes headache at the top of the head is related to trigger points which may have been activated during prolonged fever, teeth clenching, or pulling shoulders up toward ears. A visit to the chiropractor may help. When presenting with fever, the body is defending itself appropriately from infection. A chiropractic adjustment, which will restore balance to her nervous system, will also aid in restoring balance to her immune (TH1 vs TH2 cells) system via the sypathetic nerve pathway. Definately worth a try. You can find a chiropractic pediatrician near you through the ICPA (international CHiropractic Pediatric Association).
