The doctor was real nice when he explained it was below-knee amputation. Geez.. I felt soooo dumb Jan " Typing is my life "
Guest guest
Hehehe, speaking of dumb questions I've asked in my lifetime as an MT: When I started out transcribing, I had no training. I got hired and basically had to learn as I went. I got stumped the first time I had a doc say CABG (he pronounced it as cabbage). Well, gosh, I had never heard of cabbage being used for treatment in a cardiac patient, but hey, medical breakthroughs are happening all the time, right?? Of course, I questioned it and got a bit of a laugh out of it. Needless to say, I felt a little embarrassed! Diane
