Guest guest
Sophia, it sounds like your doing very well in college even with the fibro fog :-) congratulations and I know you will be ready to see this semester over, huh?? I know I always did. Your doing great and even if no one else tells you this, I will, I am very proud of you. Have a great and pain free day, Sophia. hugs, Lianne Kayley555 wrote: Well my friends, I made it through my classes... which included a test in my Writing class.... wrote a paper about FMS and got the highest grade the teacher has ever given for writing papers. She refuses to give a 6 (aka A) on any written paragraph, which is what i am working on at the moment... and the highest she will go is a 5 ( because she believes we all need room to grow. Well on my paragraph, which is hard to write because you have to keep the subject within like 8-12 sentences, i received a 5.2!~ Yippee... not a 6 which i strive for.. but good Must of been a good day when i wrote that one. I can tell because my grades reflect the more severe fog days. It is strange, but I can tell how i was feeling the day i took the test by the grade i get. I received my Algebra test back today.. i got a B on it.. though I was in a severe fog.... i can tell because the points that were taken off were not because i did a problem wrong, but because i neglected to transfer from the work page to the test page the correct answer. So go figure. Wish there was a way i could relate that to the professor.. but she has to be fair as well. When I arrived home the couch called my name.. been there ever since. Thought i would come here and check out my email and to tell you, my friends how the rest of the day went. All the time i was at the College, all i thought of was coming home and laying down. That is a bad day for sure. Am in serious pain, and the fog is bad.. but it is ok... took another test amongst this pain and got a B on it as well..... if i come out of this semester with good grades I will be surprised. 3 weeks till finals.. will pray for fog free days on those ones Hugs you all and hope you all have a great night get some sleep... keep eating,, don't forget like i do, we need all the energy that we can get from whatever source. Huggles you lots Sophia 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. Have a nice day everyone. --

Guest guest
Thanks Lianne,,, that means a lot,,, it is always a struggle... but I have to be able to support my girls one way or the other.... i know that there will come a day when i cant and I have to get used to that.. but for now I need to make a life for them far easier than what they have had and not to depend on others to do it for me. Thanks again for the encouragement... your the only one that does And of course others in the group just none really here in my family Huggles you lots Sophia -- Re: The rest of the story :)/sophia Sophia, it sounds like your doing very well in college even with the fibro fog :-) congratulations and I know you will be ready to see this semester over, huh??
