Welcome to the group! No need to worry your baby is in excellent

hands. Cranial Technologies are the leaders in treating plaigo

babies.

Bands and helmets most definitely work! The pressure the DOCband

applies is so mild, it's not even felt by the baby.

Your baby is a great age to receive awesome correction. Please keep

DOC Bands definately work. My daughter was 5 mos when she was

banded, it has only been 1 month and the difference is amazing! I

think once you see how the DOC Band fits you won't worry about the

pressure. Once I saw there was room for groth every week, and my

daughter didn't even mind the band, I quit worrying. Good luck and

Hi there! There have been many DOCband success stories on this

support group. Starting at such a young age, I'm sure that your baby

will receive excellent correction. There are no safety concerns and

once you hold and feel the band in person you'll see why. When

fitted correctly it will not be tight at all and it will be very,

very lightweight. Which location are you using? Best of luck and

Hi and welcome to the group! You will be in great hands with

cranial tech and have nothing to worry about. The bands do work--be

sure to look in our photo section to see for yourself! The band did

not affect my Hannah's growth at all, if fact her head circumference

was in the 50% percentile at the beginning of treatment and in the

90% at the end! The band relies on growth to work, it just helps

direct the growth in to the certain places that need filling in

most. Most babies adjust much better than their parents to the

bands, but even us parents feel better once we see how easy our

babies adjust. It does help to decorate the band I think. Which

facility will you be using? There is bound to be someone in your

area that can give you local advice/experiences. Good luck.
