We're not even exchanging rings at mine Those are pretty flowers, and a pretty bride too! =) Here's a picture of my bouquet from my wedding (Oct 3, 1998) I love purple, so they were purple with lots of greeny thingies cuz green is also my favorite color, and then white to mix in so it didn't look too dark! =) We just had simple rings, but I love them! =) Non traditional too... an emerald... I don't much care for diamonds... hehe We just kept things small and simple! =) It was thrown together in less than 2 months! lol Just decided, heck it's time to do it up officially! =) Hope all goes well with your wedding, as I'm sure it will! =) Love and Hugs, Kelli from Texas =) 234/214/125 Atkins 8/26/
Guest guest
Kelli, you don't happen to live in DFW, do you? You look kinda familiar. Not someone I know really but maybe someone I've seen. I lived in Ft Worth for 3 years now I live in Mansfield. Robin, No, I don't live in DFW proper... but I do live up in Sherman, which is not too far away, and frequent down towards Dallas all the time. I've only lived her about a year and a half... =) Love and Hugs, Kelli from Texas =) 234/213/125 Atkins 8/26/
Guest guest
Wow those are really pretty, very similar in colour to Kirstie's. I'm not much of a pink and yellow person, I think those colours are more 'me' Adria Kelli wrote: > > > those are such pretty flowers! Well, let's see... I don't care for diamonds, I think they look big and gaudy and just aren't me... I absolutely looooove emeralds, so that more fits me, it's something I can look at every day and admire! =) AND... another thing that isn't traditional... If you'll go back and look at the closeup of our hands and bouquet... notice the placement of the rings... Tradition says the wedding band goes first, then the engagement ring goes on after it... HA! Not for me... I say the engagement ring came first, so it stays first! lol So, whenever tradition just doesn't sit right for you... just say, what the heck, who cares and do it your way! =) Love and Hugs, Kelli from Texas =) 234/213/125 Atkins 8/26/
Guest guest
Kelli, I sure will nothing I do in my life is traditional, for example, Stephane and I, we had kids, then moved in together, and now we're getting married, how backwards is that? I actually feel bad about doing it that way, but it's just how it happened, as for a wedding dress, I think I'm going for the " serving wench " look, we'll see, soon I hope, only 2 months and no dress picked out! Guest guest
> hope, only 2 months and no dress picked out! LOL, yer too funny, Adria! =) Well, if I can do it hun, so can you! I picked my dress out in record time and got it altered too *just* in time! It was just a simple dress, nothing fancy, I would have looooved to have been able to wear the more fancy stuff... but my body type just didn't fit those other dresses... fat people discriminators! lol Anyways, I lived with my hubby for 3 years before we finally got married! =) Love and Hugs, Kelli from Texas =) 234/213/125 Atkins 8/26/
