Guest guest
I am waiting for my period so I can go in and take the aldosterone test. Do I need to know anything besides not taking any salt fro 24- 48hours?? Do I also need the renin test? Will it be bad if the doc does not test this? Guest guest
Renin looks more at kidney fuinction and tells you if the cause of low aldosterone is pituitary , or kidney or adrneal. I never had renin testing done, the aldosterone is the necessary one. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
