Thanks a million. Have another question for you tho. When you stand

up to take the BP do you rest your arm on something or should you let

it hang at your side?

I have done it both ways, along side still lwent down a hair earlier.

But what does it mean when my BP goes so high when I stand up? Earlier

I tooki my Bp sitting, 146/85 p.65; standing 170/91 p.81; that is a big

jump. Is it me or am I doing something wrong. I noticed that since I

am stress dosing with the BP_that my Bp is running higher than it was.

What does that mean? Thanks in advance for all your input.

nite and this morning, it is finally gone again, but noticed that my

legs are a little weak, but all in all I feel much better.

  • 4 weeks later...

Ok will do, will add another sea salt as I was only taking one. I

will drop t3 down 12.5 for a few days. Last time it took pulse too

low.

My pulse was fine till the irregular heartbeat started last nite. It

is still going. My Bp is still very low, has been all day. The last

one just a few minutes ago is as follows: sitting--110/86 p.93;

standing--114/72 p.130. I only stress dosed once today of 10mg HC,

should I do more to try to get this heartbeat stopped. My pulse was

good before the irregular heartbeat started last nite.

I would go to the middle on the T3. How much did you reduce it? maybe go

back half way between ths dose and the one you were taking. Your BP

swining that wildly is not a happy sign... But once off your stress dose

ti should settle down again.

I reduced it 12.5mcg, so then just add half of that correct?? All lof

a sudden I am retaining fluid in feet and hands. I am taking 1/2 tsp

sea salt twice a day, eating a banana a day for the potassium (since I

had that stomach flu & irregular heartbeat). I think I am drinking

enough water. I am in between docs at the moment, but as soon as I get

one I will have the aldosterone checked. I ask my old one to but she

never did do it, nor the ferritin test. Any suggestions on how to stop

the fluid???

I am betting the fluid retentuion is just from the extra HC dosing

during your illness. Even when you need it it can have that unwanted

side effect when you have to dose high for an illness.

Thanks for the tip, you are probably correct. I am having headaches

around my eyes and neckache could that be now I need more T3?? You

told me to up 6mcg from where I cut back on T3 because of the high

heart rate when I had irregular heartbeat. Now it is low again in the

mornings when I wake up, 58pulse. How long do I do the 6mcg raise

before I go on up to the 75mcg I was at??
