Insurance denial for cast molding of DOC Band

Hello! My 4 month old son Aidan has just been diagnosed with

Positional Plagiocephaly and our insurance has denied covering

the DOC band because they are saying it is cosmetic. I'm about

to start the appeal process and was just wondering if anyone has any

good tips. My insurance carrier is Fortis Benefits. Anyone have them

and been denied for this by them? Would love some feedback!
