Guest guest
We've seen a Neuropsych a few times, in relation to 's brain tumor and surgeries. The first time was in preparation for his first sets of surgeries and the Neuropsych administered a Functional MRI for mapping of 's brain. That was so fascinating!!! Seeing each area which controlled various parts of each function, each lit in it's own color. I wished I'd had a copy of that test! LOL Very, very cool! The other appointments with a Neuropsych were for the same thing, but the first was the coolest cuz it was the first. LOL Did you ever administer the F-MRI? Or was that something that came later? Or... ? Challis n Rojas wrote: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuropsychology I just cannot resist this one, being a retired neuropsychologist; am sending a link! love, n, who found it useful in a more "humane" way than herein described; neuropsychologists often work with learning-disabled people and kids, with stroke and brain injured persons, and yes, even us with "multiple surprises!" NeuropsychologistHello everyone! I have been so busy lately. My MIL has been visiting from Chicago since Wednesday. She goes home this afternoon. I just finished reading a wonderfully informative book. Facing the Cognitive Challenges of Multiple Sclerosis by Jeffery N. Gingold. Anyway, it has been about 3yrs since my Dx & I've noticed these types of changes in me in the last 2yrs. I am going to make an appt with a neuropsychologist to have cognitive testing done. Has anyone else had this done? E.ColoradoCheck out the new AOL. Guest guest
That came later, but brain mapping is both fascinating and rewarding as it enables the neuro-folks to figure out what is really going on--or not!
