To make a call I had to sit on the uncovered edge of the covered porch, lean way to my left and keep my head turned a certain way---then I had service. I sat there on an icy chair wearing my down jacket over a sweater, over a sweatshirt, over a shirt..... often with two pairs of pants, two pairs of socks and winter pack boots. I had a winter scarf, winter hat pulled down over my ears, and my big heavy mittens on.... just try to make a call like that! the outage area I've been hearing about on the news. What did you do for water? Did you have emergency water jugs anywhere? I just can't do without water so, to me, that would be the biggest problem. I'll bet you are tired from no sleep. Is there any kind of emergency back-up power you can have for your breathing machine?
