Guest guest
2 or 3 weeks ago, my not-so-sexy truck had a permanent breakdown. since then, i've been borrowing my mom's car. last week, my grandpa told me i had better find a new car soon. he said he'd help out as much as he needed to. mom said to look for something $1000 or less (she handles their finances). yesterday after picking trev up from preschool, i passed an 86 plymouth voyager on sale for $800. i called and talked to the man and he said the only thing wrong with it was the timing, but he had another voyager for the same price with absolutely nothing wrong with it, plus it was an 87. so last night, me and the kids went over and checked it out. it's really really nice. it's fully loaded, brand new tires, brand new carburator, etc. i asked him- if there was nothing wrong with it, why was he selling it. he said- only because he had too many vehicles and wanted to get rid of a few. i called mom and asked her if it was ok, she said it was and that i could come get the money today. so this morning, i loaded up the kids, went over and got the money, brought it to the guys house, and we bought ourselves a minivan! he'll bring it over to the house this weekend cause he had a few little things he was gonna do to it before it got sold (he wasn't expecting it to go so fast). then sometime next week, hopefully, i will get it on the road. yay!!!
