Is it safe to use Epsom Salt if I've had Gastric Bypass surgery?

I had Gastric Bypass surgery in Sept. of this year. I want to

cleanse my liver. I understand that I need to use a mixture of Epsom

Salt with grapefruit and virgin olive oil. Since my stomach is so

much more sensitive and smaller now ( 2 ounces), will it be safe for

me to ingest Epsom salt. Please help. This is so important for me to

know as I can't proceed with the liver cleansing until I get some

info. Of course, one's surgeon( who's not into natural health

remedies) is not going to answer this question.

Thanks, Darline

No! I almost died this past Friday, after taking epson salt as a laxative. I had a gastric bypass done in 2012.

I took the recommended amount orally with water. My husband had to call 911, and I ended up in the emergency room with symptoms of epson salt poisoning.

I was admited and stayed in the ICU overnight. Please be careful!! I don't wish this on anyone. Please check the symptoms of epson salt poisoning. I felt like I was diying.
