I made the cauliflower with the cream cheese and butter, excellent!!!

I passed it on to another list also. I had to use the hand masher

for lack of processor but they turned out just fine!!!! DON " T use a

hand mixer!!! Another lady tried that and it was faux spuds all over

the place!!!

Also had salmon tonight cooked in peach juice. very good.

In fact the food channell had that on tonight cauliflower in the

processor mixed with virgin olive oil and a little milk and salmon

roasted in the oven at 225 degrees. Didn't say for how long though.

But should not take very long.

Well this might not change it too much but you can cut them in half and then

stir fry them in garlic and olive oil and then add parmesan cheese before you

serve it. We love brussel sprouts....btw...if you buy them fresh...wait

until after your area has a freeze...that makes them sweeter and takes away

the bitterness. We grow our own and love them this way

Hello Madge910@...,

In reference to your comment:

è I am not fond of brussel sprouts but bought some in

è hopes I can make it taste like something else!

I love brussel sprouts steamed and then covered with jalepeno jack cheese, i

buy the stuff that you would use for nacho's and use a few tbsps there are

very few carbs in brussel sprouts after you subtract the fiber, and there's

like 4g of carb in the sauce for like 2tbsp

I also use just butter, and paramasean cheese (shake cheese) yummy again.

---An idea if cooking a head of cauliflower. One could portion it

after cooking and add something different to each portion. That way

its the same veggie but will taste different with other ingredients

added. Could have it for dinner every nite and would still be varied

day before. This way you can experiment on smaller portions and see

what is liked or not liked.

Hi Madge,

I really like steamed or boiled brussel sprouts with mayo. I usually whip

the mayo with a little lemon to make it not quite as thick. The sauce is very

tangy and goes great with the bs.

Good luck. :)

---OK!! I will try this way. Thanks! BTW I added bacon to my

cauliflower tonight. I had already put cream cheese and butter in

it. Enhanced the flavor and made it seem a bit different from last

night!

The food processor will probably really do a nice job on it. The

hand masher doesn't make it as fine as a processor would.

Had leftover chicken from the other night. That had spaghetti sauce

and mozzarella cheese on it. Boneless breast I use.
