Guest guest
Hi everyone, It's been 4 weeks since my surgery. My period ended but I just realized my surgery site is still bleeding. It's not that much blood but it seems to be coming from a small site that hurts horribly and when it doesn't hurt it stings or itches. It's right at the bottom of the vaginal opening. I had refused to see me with the mirror since it was just making me more nervous, but Iwent ahead and saw myself. It's kind of hard because before I had the surgery I would just squat and the whole area would open. Now, after two surgeries, my legs can't stand the position and it hurts, so I have to manage to hold a flashlight, the mirror and open my vulva at the same time (I need 4 hands). Anyway, on one side it seems to be healing really well and the transition from the vagina to the vulva looks very smooth. On the other side I have a bulge that is quite disgusting. aND right in the middle, the place where it hurts, there's like a little point that doesn't heal, it sometimes has a little scab or looks wet, like oozing. That's the place that hurts. My guess is that the bulge kind of keeps it covered and it never get dry. I called the doctor and told him I was still bleeding and it has been 4 weeks, and he said " I wouldn't worry about it, see you in two weeks " . Iknow there is something wrong and that he's going to have to do some kind of repair. I just would like it to be the soonest possible. I'm kind of desperate about this. I can't do anything because it stings all the time. Walking is horrendous. People now are assuming that after 4 weeks I'm perfectly well and treating me like that. My advisor keeps asking for new things all the time and I don't see the end of it. I'm in a lot of stress. I'll inform in one week, hopefully with better news.
