Guest guest
is participating in his longest run ever - the Maritime 50k Fox Run, in honour of Terry Fox, on September 19th. I'll be biking the first 37+ Kms and walking the last 12.9 across the Confederation Bridge between New Brunswick to PEI. This 50Km ( ~ 31 mile) run will include 3 provinces and cross 2 provincial borders. Full details are here: http://therunman.blogspot.com/2010/09/maritime-50k-fox-run.html In the past a number of you have supported the Terry Fox Run by sponsoring and I hope you'll consider doing so again. Thanks! -jypsy ________________________________
Guest guest
He did it http://therunman.blogspot.com/2010/09/maritime-50k-fox-run_19.html see also http://www.journalpioneer.com/News/Local/2010-09-20/article-1774501/Testing-pers\ onal-limits-on-Terry-Fox-Run/1 was the youngest of these 15 runners. Although he wasn't alive when Terry Fox ran through PEI, he's been a fan from a very early age. I biked along 36.62K on the mainland (joined the runners a couple of Km up the road from where they started) and walked the 12.9K bridge (and another K to the parking lot). Thanks to those of you who sponsored - The original plan was for the group to to run 3 provinces, cross 2 borders and raise 1 thousand dollars. I believe they about doubled that. Thanks to all who ran, walked, sponsored, donated and/or celebrated Terry Fox yesterday. -jypsy At 10:09 AM 9/7/2010, jypsy [ janet norman-bain ] wrote: > is participating in his longest run ever - the Maritime 50k Fox >Run, in honour of Terry Fox, on September 19th.
