Guest guest
, I know you go the Helena Clinic---can you tell me what TYPE of allergy testing they are doing for you? I went to a chiropractor today who does NAET allergy testing. http://www.naet.com/subscribers/index_ns.html http://www.energyhealth.com/naet.html (this is NOT my doctor). At first I was a little sceptical because of the method of testing. It is all done by muslce weakness etc. I have to say I was shocked! He had me lye on my back and did a quick test where he had one arm down at my side, one arm up in the air--palm away from me and thumb facing the direction of my feet. He put his finger on my forehead between my eyebrows thumb down. Then pushed against my wrist of my air in the air. I had to resist. I did this just fine and then when he put the back of his fingre on my forehead, I could not resist his arm and my arm started to drop when I pressed against him!! This was just his stablizing test. So--then he takes a GLASS vial with the first item in it and puts it in the hand at my side. While holding it I do the same test but first put my thumb and first fingers together, then the middle finger and thumb and the ring finger (each has a reason). The first vial I did all the resistance so no allergy. It was chicken/egg/tetracycline (spelled wrong). Then I was thinking--this is all hooey! LOL But I didn't have anything to lose at that point. Next he put another vial (he didn't tell me what they were till after) and when I tried to resist, my arm fell to my chest!!! I was shocked!!! It turned out to be calcium/milk! I knew years ago I would bloat after having ice cream/milk but that stopped over time and I just kept eating dairy. So the testing stops and he treats it. Treatment is: While holding the vials you get on your stomach and he has this plunger thing that releases engery (this is all based on magnetics I think). First he does it while you hold your breath, then again after you let your breath out then again while panting heavy then again at normal breathing. He tested me after and I was able to resist this time. Then he did electric accupuncture to " open the gates " and this was done while holding the vials. Then I had to lie quietly for 15 mins holding the vials. During this time his nurse and I chatted about things. Then I was done. I have the next allergy test Thursday (vit c is next). I think that may be a positive because citric acid burns my behind badly. Now for 25 hours I can not have any calcium in any form in any amount. Then I can have it again and he will recheck at the next visit. About 10 mins after the visit I got really hot and my bowels decided to empty which is interesting because milk products cause me to be constipated when I have too much. I also want so chiroptractic adjustment at some point to see if pudendal nerve is a problem. I burn more the longer I sit but then that could just be pressure on the area making the burn worse. What I find MOST amazing is that during a recent endocronology metabolic mapping it was found that I spill calcium in my urine. I didn't tell the chiro that. He was explaining that when you are allergic you can have one of 3 reactions--1) shock 2) hives/itching/throat closure etc 3) the item passes thru your body and is not used as the body see it has a foreign invader. Which matches the calcium spilling in the urine. So--THis is all new to me and we shall see. My insurance will pay for 24 visits then I have to figure out what is next (if I even need to). He is a Blue Cross provider and I have blue cross so that is great. Now to see if BC will pay for the treatment part of it. Lynn
