Guest guest
Robyn, Call your ortho and let him/her know what is going on. I'm sure everything is ok since it is fading within the hour off. Let us know what your ortho says. --- In Plagiocephaly , " robynecl " <jrsclower@a...> wrote: > Hello everyone. > > is starting to show a red spot on the side of his head where the > DOC band opens. Guest guest
It may just need to be softened in that area. Just call in the morning and talk to them. If it fades that quickly it shouldn't be an urgent concern. natasha --- In Plagiocephaly , " robynecl " <jrsclower@a...> wrote: > Hello everyone. > > is starting to show a red spot on the side of his head where the > DOC band opens. Guest guest
Yup I agree, Jaden's ortho softened the edges where it closes so that the foam would sort of roll over his scalp and not pinch it when tightened. He sort of rolled the edges and all was well. That would be my suggestion. But as the others stated, as long as the redness disappears w/in the hour, it's not a huge worry. Ask the ortho to make the adjustment. ~Amy, mommy to Jaden 9 mo's MN CranioCap Grad! 8/6/04 Started Chiro 6/29/04 mild tort/mild scoliosis/low muscle tone left shoulder > > Hello everyone. > > > > is starting to show a red spot on the side of his head where > the > > DOC band opens.
