Guest guest
ROFL I laugh everytime I hear of those veggies and cans being lobbed at my Mom's house! LMHO WHat a weird thing to have happen... and yet, I'm not surprised it happened to her, cuz weird things do that with my Mom. LOL I'm really glad none of the cans went through windows and hit anyone. I wouldn't be able to laugh nearly so hard then! My Mom's Secret Santa has a tato launcher! LOL Happy Holidays to you and yours! :0)Sharon Marsden <wobbletowalk> wrote: There have been several things happen around here.... from illness to veggies and salmon landing in my yard!First, I told you I was "fighting" a cold--well I lost the fight. lol I ran a fever yesterday afternoon and overnight. I do feel somewhat better today and so far the only increase in MS-STUFF is that I'm a little more wobbly than usual and I'm more tired than usual. There are 3 people in this household of 9 (I have 2 grandsons visiting) who haven't had the cold. But now one of them has come down with a stomach virus he caught from a friend he visited. I hope we all don't get THAT one on top of the colds we already have.... Now the veggies/salmon story. Night before last I woke at 2 a.m. to a thud outside my window. I got up and peeked out but there was no one there. Then in a few minutes there was another thud in a different location. Then another a few minutes after that. Another minute later there was the sound of breaking glass. After the 2nd thud I was looking out the window and watching... NO one was there and there were no vehicles going down the road. My daughter-in-law let the dogs out the back door while my son went out the front door. The dogs didn't bark and no one was seen. But my son did find a can of green beans and he heard what sounded like a muffled "pow" off in the distance. He found a broken beer bottle too. The next morning my son did a search around the yard and found a can of salmon, two cans of green beans, small cans of refried beans, some squash and three smashed beer bottles. All the cans were dented. All the evidence was put together and we concluded someone was pelting out yard with stuff shot out of a potato launcher. They must have run out of cans because last night all we got was bell peppers and squash. The salmon was government surplus so we figure it was a food box from the food bank. What a waste of good food! We hope they don't go back to the food bank today for more canned food. Peppers and squash are okay I suppose. I just wish they would give it to us whole though, you know?So what's going on in YOUR neighborhood????Sharon I was trying to daydream, but my mind kept wandering. <!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]--><!--[endif]--> __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Oh great! Now I'll be picturing a Christmas Angel, of all things, in this! LMHO A glorious shining light, heavenly music, and comodities flying through the air, while my family dodges and ducks and throws themselves behind furniture for protection, but doesn't move fast enough and a wad of spinach sticks nicely up his nose. Poor . LOLOL Challis Sharon Marsden wrote: I thought maybe we have a berserk Christmas Angel.
