Guest guest
Greetings from Romania ! Some weeks ago, Mr. Simon Wallace, " Autism Speaks' Director of Research Development Europe " invited me to be a sort of 'community judge/blog commenter' for this student competition on the industrial-design site Core77. He also told me not to publicize it until it was officially announced - which is now. http://core77.com/autism-connects/ http://challenges.core77.com/landing/contest-overview/autism-connects/ " The " Autism Connects " technology and design competition challenges students to help individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to better connect with the world around them, and allow individuals who do not have ASD to better understand and connect with those who do. " To me it sounds well meaning and pretty respectful. Previously, Core77 had presented and praised Wiltshire and Temple Grandin. Temple is also on the official judge panel now. I hope our civilized participation could counterbalance the 'official' judges, others of which some of us may have some arguments against ;-) Thank you for thinking about this, Mircea Pauca, Bucuresti, Romania
