Vagal Nerve Stimulators

Any stories of transports of kids with implanted vagal nerve stimulators? We

have an eight year old status epilepticus in our service area who has the

device. Searched Gene's google and found a great site. Used " CEP--vagal nerve

stimulation " and

even got operative photos.

Now, we just need pre-hospital direction. (Of course, I know that this must

come from our medical director. I just want your war stories!)

What about the use of the cardiac monitor on this child?

Any info would be appreciated.
