that is too easy. it never works that way. that recipe is always thin and kind

of gritty.

here's an easy, no-fail way:

1 part butter. Melt. Add minced garlic cloves to taste.

Add 1 part whole milk, warmed in the microwave.

Add 2 parts grated parmesean slowly, stirring. even better, a parmesean/romano

mix

Add cream cheese by the tbsp until mixture is desired thickness.

That recipe took me four years to get right. She'll love it, I promise!

The ultimate injustice? I can't eat dairy anymore!!!! AGH!!!!!!

When I say 'get right', I don't mean it's hard to do; I mean I made it up

myself, through years of trial and error that started with that recipe your

friend got!

That's the way I make it, and it's yummy. If you like,

you can add some parsley and garlic. :)

I have the one from the Better Homes and Garden

Cookbook it just says after making your noodles to

poor light cream into the hot saucepan, add butter and

parmesan cheese. Ummm does that sound TOO easy or

what?NOt sure I trust it.
