Guest guest
I've just been reading (on a website about Gerson therapy) (http://www.webserve.co.uk/gerson/therapy.html if anyone's interested) that the effect of coffee enemas is " The caffeine in the coffee enemas is taken to the liver which is stimulated to excrete the toxins it filters from the blood. These toxins are passed to the bile duct which in turn empties into the intestines and are expelled naturally. " I thought caffeine was a toxin that would burden the liver - do I misunderstand the situation or does it make a difference if it's an enema as opposed to drinking coffee? And then they also say " castor oil travels from the mouth through the whole of the gastro-intestinal (G.I.) tract (including the small intestine) and, as the body tries to reject the castor oil, it also rejects the toxins which exist in the G.I. tract. " Would this be true of Epsom Salts too? I'd appreciate it if anyone can throw some light on these topics.
