Guest guest
We're following the biofilm protocol and I wanted to add (doc is fine w/it:) Uva Ursi into the mix. I'm guessing my daughter's yeast is flaring up. We have the liquid/tincture but am not sure how many drops to use. Thanks. Lainie
Guest guest
When asking for help like this, you need to say your child's age/weight and strength of the tincture you're using, as there may be many of them out there of different strengths. I do not use the extract, but 200mg capsules that provide 20% arbutin, the significant ingredient. Uva Ursi is effective for urinary tract infection, but it is not a benign medicine, and is actually not advised for children under 12 generally, as it can cause nausea and the breakdown into hydroquinone is a carcinogen. I never give it two days in a row but alternate it with a caprylic acid compound, to give the body time to get rid of it between uses. I use VRP's 200mg capsules 1/2 cap twice daily for little guys and 1 cap twice daily for kids over 40#, but like I say, I never use it on consecutive days but every other day. Would you mind telling us which biofilm protocol you're using? I am getting a lot of die-off with this protocol, even with activated charcoal. I'm sure that means it's effective, but several kids have had to stop it because they couldn't handle the side effects.
