We're following the biofilm protocol and I wanted to add (doc is fine

w/it:) Uva Ursi into the mix. I'm guessing my daughter's yeast is

flaring up. We have the liquid/tincture but am not sure how many drops

to use.

Thanks.

When asking for help like this, you need to say your

child's age/weight and strength of the tincture you're

using, as there may be many of them out there of

different strengths. I do not use the extract, but

200mg capsules that provide 20% arbutin, the

significant ingredient. Uva Ursi is effective for

urinary tract infection, but it is not a benign

medicine, and is actually not advised for children

under 12 generally, as it can cause nausea and the

breakdown into hydroquinone is a carcinogen. I never

give it two days in a row but alternate it with a

caprylic acid compound, to give the body time to get

rid of it between uses. I use VRP's 200mg capsules

1/2 cap twice daily for little guys and 1 cap twice

daily for kids over 40#, but like I say, I never use

it on consecutive days but every other day. Would you

mind telling us which biofilm protocol you're using?

I am getting a lot of die-off with this protocol, even

with activated charcoal. I'm sure that means it's

effective, but several kids have had to stop it

because they couldn't handle the side effects. Dr. JM
