So, do you all want to know why I've been almost totally pain free for the past 3 days but dead tired on my feet?? My Dr. upped my perscription for Oxycontin to 2 pills in the morning and 2 at night (equals 40mg each time) from 1 pill each time. Soooo, I get the prescription, I'm going ahead and taking 2 each time and when I drove to preschool I felt dizzy almost like I was going to fall asleep at the wheel but I didn't. But for the past three days, I have been dead tired; not able to stay awake tired. I looked at my prescription and it is stillwritten for 1 in the morning and 1 at night. I told my husband, the nurse, "Hey, they screwed up my prescription." and he said no they didn't they just gave you 40mg pills instead of 20's. So, I have been taking 160mg of oxycontin a day for the last 3 days. Yes, it took my pain away, although I still needed some percocet about 9 hours later, I felt really good. duh and double duh. we'll see how today goes. I felt really stupid but at least I know now why I was soooooo tired.
