I swore I'd never use FB but a former student contacted me and asked me to

get on there, so I reluctantly did. Well, at this point, I'm on it each

morning and each night and sometimes check it during the day. I even have my

phone rigged so I can check it and post status updates. A lot of people on

other email lists are connected to mine and we are very chatty at times and

love keeping up on each other's lives that way. Plus, we all have our

favorite games we play on there.

I have never done facebook and at this point in time suspect I'll

never wish to. I like e-mail forums but fb doesn't attract me at all.

I didn't even know there were these communities. I'm in the " south jersey "

community, or something. Is that what you mean or something you join?

In

I just don't feel the need. I don't have TV or play electronic games

either. Some parts of modern life just don't inspire me.

**I'm not even sure how I stumbled into the Dylan 'community'. I guess I

just started posting videos I found interesting and people saw them,

responded, friended me and it just grew from there. There are a bunch of

different Dylan-related groups on FB, but most of them are pretty inactive.

Maybe you can try typing in your interest, or check the ads on the right

hand side. Often something will pop up that interests you and you can click

on it. It also hepls if you mention your interest(s) in your profile. Good

luck!

**I was dragged kicking and screaming into the computer age. My spouse

bought one in '95 and he was the only one who used it. I didn't touch it

I've been on-line ever since. As for TV, I watch very little and I don't own

Once I got online there was no stopping me :-) But my mobile phone I

hate, being contactable all the time. I only got one because I was

assaulted by someone in a situation where no one else was around, and

I realised that having a phone could be part of taking responsibility

for my own safety. I prefer texts to calls.

I have Facebook, but I never use it. Friends of mine who were part of a

Nintendo DS game we played, " Animal Crossing " , talked me into getting an

account, but I just am not comfortable with writing anything on. I have

people who post to me all the time, so to acknowledge by sending their cyber

pets a present, or them a cyber flower or the like...things to let them know

I'm thinking of them.

It might be easier using my email address. Wow, had no idea there were so

many of me! lol. There's one around here, too, and we use the same

veterinarian and hospital. I always have to make sure they have the right

records

out.

That's just like a woman. The answer, my friend, is blowin in the

wind. In any case, don't think twice, it's alright and you must not

feel so all alone. Even with the red lights flashing in the hot New

Jersey night.

The Bob Dylan impersonation on Carolyn Glick's " We Conned the World "

video comes to mind. It was pretty funny.

Actually, " We Con the World " . My error.

I pretty much lost it when Bruce did the solo, with his headband.

Carolyn Glick, who produced it, makes a cameo appearance in a brown

v-neck dress and a headscarf.

I thought this was going to be something to do with Bob Dylan. The one I

found, after they corrected the spelling of the name from " Carolyn " to

" Caroline " was to do with the Israel/Palestine conflict, but I couldn't

figure out if it was pro Israel or pro Palestine.

Caroline is correct.

The Bob Dylan chararcter (obviously none are the real people from

the " We are the World " video) is about 2/3 through, just after the

first full group shot. Admittedly, it's not hard to do a convincing

Dylan spoof.

video.
