I have the Mother in law problem too. I think my hubby is definitely harder on me after he has been talking to his Mom. She has always thought that I was not good enough for her son. He doesn't catch the little things she says, either that or he won't pay attention. A few weeks ago, she asked him if he has ever watched "Wife Swap". He didn't take that as a slam to me, but I did. Am I just paranoid???

Well, in that one case I think you are paranoid. That show is hysterical and I would love to be on it myself! Maybe someone else can straighten my kids out! Cause I can't. But I don't know the other things she does to slam you. I know that no one will ever be good enough for my boys or my daughter. And my daughter is 14 and my sons are only 4 and 3. I have a very weird, strange, eccentric mother in law but she's good in alot of ways. She doesn't have the attitude that no one is good enough for her sons. And I think the best thing about her is she stays out of our business. If we talk to her and ask her opinion, she will give us an honest one. But she has never butted in when no asked for her opinion.

All I can say when it comes to MIL's is good luck!

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone.

I really want to leave him. But every where I turn I have nowhere to go. I

only get 13,000 a year and I cannot live off of it. I went to the

government to find out if I could get help and they turned me down so now I

am stuck. //snip//
