I really feel for you; I would probably go nuts too. The smell, the mess. Can you, until she is off of it, tell her, only to smear in the bathroom and not in the whole house? I hope the doc will be able to help you. Keep your nerves together, if you can. Tim hates his poop. He hates it so much that he only does it in the diaper. And only once a week when he cant hold it any longer. But, strange enough, it is not hard as a rock when it comes out. I still hate to have to clean him up afterwards.
