Or is it another form of Niacin altogether? What would it be as a B Vitamin? B6 or ... ? Guest guest Posted November 9, 2006 Report Share Posted November 9, 2006 I Googled it. Nicotinoyl is a niacin analog. Niacin is niacin (vitamin B3), also know as nicotinic acid. Niacinamide is a form of it, but is not useful in treating high cholesterol.
