Guest guest
Hi Kim, What's wrong with reverse osmosis water? I drink Sam's Club bottled water. It is either purified or reverse osmosis with minerals added. I like the taste and it's cheap. Same process and taste with Dasani. Can you suggest a brand that is okay? I will definitely go to the health food store and see what is there and what they recommend. Do you think irrigating my sinuses is causing the fluid in my ears? Should I stop doing it? (I've been doing it twice a day, in the morning and evening) Also, does think I should be taking some Vitamin C to help my symptoms? (how much and at what times of day) Also, do you or have a natural remedy that you can recommend for the fluid in my ears and sinuses? ***I also have a question about the GOL Living Multi. I'm finally taking the recommended dose but was wondering if I should be taking it just in the morning and at nite (3 in the am and 3 at pm) instead of taking 2 in am, 2 at noon, and 2 at pm. I've been feeling a little more agitated since I stepped up the dose and I know its probably just the recovery stuff that I'll have to deal with but I thought I would ask. I noticed that my heart is racing a little since I took the noon dose and thought maybe that had something to do with it. My hormones are kicking in too so that may have something to do with it. Thanks again for all your help! Hugs, Kathy :-)
Guest guest
There is no connection between foul-smelling green snot and vitamins. You had some kind of sinus infection and now it is clearing up. The vitamins didn't cause it. They just don't cause stuff like that. Bacteria causes symptoms like that. I want you to go back and look at all your posts about how much the vitamins were helping you. Don't getdevelop a fixation that the vitamins made you sick. There is no connection. If I got hit by a bus while I was taking vitamins, I wouldn't blame the vitamins. This is pretty much the same thing. Just because two things happen at the same time doesn't mean there is a connection between them. Actually, you should increase your vitamin C to help your body get rid of this infection. Drink a lot of water too. Take it easy for a few days and let yourself heal. Good news about your sister! Regards, Kim

Guest guest
Hi Ginger, Thanks so much for sharing the great news!!! Glad things are going well. Isn't it a relief that it isn't you--it's the drugs and the withdrawal causing all that nasty stuff? Regards, Kim co-moderator
Guest guest
Kim You siad> > Isn't it a relief that it isn't you--it's the drugs and the > withdrawal causing all that nasty stuff? > That is so true. You do not know what a relief it is to know that that really is a symptom of withdrawal and not you yourself. Honestly that gives me so much more power and strength to go through with it cause you know that in the end you will be ok. thanks again Ginger

Guest guest
Probably the best thing you did for yourself was not freaking out about how you were feeling. You recognized all of it as SYMPTOMS related to overstimulation, and you managed the symptoms and the underlying cause. If you had thrown a lot of emotional energy into REACTING to how badly you were feeling, you would not have recovered nearly so quickly. Awesome work!! Guest guest
Thanks Kim, but I think you're giving me too much credit. When I wrote the first email at 4 am Tuesday, I was definately freaking out. But once I drank a lot of water and coated myself in Young Living essential oils, I was able to do what you described and start riding it out. Yahoo! for Good - Make a difference this year. Guest guest
its amazing how well those supplements work when you are sensitive. it amazed me as well. i do have a question about supplements though. im still taking just one of those multi vitamins that i was told to take. it says too take 5 a day, but i felt a little sick with more then one. should i just stick with the one or keep trying two. jason > > Hi everyone, > > I just want to say that I am amazed at how quickly I recovered from my ordeal on Monday. Guest guest
Great news about the coffee, but you're doing yourself a grave disservice with the diet sodas. No need to apologize to me--you're the one getting damaged. Still, if you kicked the coffee you can kick the soda. All in good time. Focus on getting through the surgery and then you can get back to serious work on your health! Regards, Kim co-moderator > I forgot to tell you about all the caffeine. I had terrible trouble with the diet sodas too. I drank about a liter per day. I had to taper just like with the meds...I was really addicted and I still think there is something in the aspartame that was lifting my mood. I also think it was messing with my blood sugar in a major way. I feel much steadier without it. I did some web searching and found some really awful stuff about aspartame and sucralose both...the two main sweeteners used in the diet sodas. There are lots of sites about aspartame in particular and testimonials about the damage it caused some people. It helped me to print some of that stuff out and read it whenever I got a craving. Apparently aspartame was never really tested with people drinking it in such large quantities as they do today. Back in the day I guess they thought people would have one or two glasses per day at the most. Good luck with your surgery.

Guest guest
I am now working on the protest diary for the lecture. I have a paypal email paypal@... Write down protest otherwise I am thinking it will be used for the support groups. Since someone for the support group was kind enough to write a check for Autistic Pride a month or so ago there is now an Autistic Pride Checking account.
