Guest guest
Hi everyone. My name is ' and my husband is . had surgery for Chiari 1 on March 7,2000. He is now almost 1 month post-op. He is feeling better the headaches w/ pressure that he had before seem to be gone. He is working on getting back up on his feet again. Yesterday he made his big accomplishment walking to the end of the street and back (not to far away but the farthest he's walked since surgery). I am so proud of him for that. But there is one thing that concerns me. Has any one who has had surgery had to be on oxygen after the surgery? I know wasn't in the best of shape before surgery because he was always tried or laying down (due to the chiari). Please let me know. Thanks to all of you!!! I know I have all of you here for me and that makes me feel good to know that there are people out there that know what I'm talking about and understand.
