I just wanna say, I'm already SICK of hearing how Gerald Ford

was Such a nice guy. How he was right all along to pardon Nixon.

NO! His wife did a lot more good for the country than he did,

with her breast cancer awareness and drug and alcohol counseling

clinic.

I was totally ELATED when that bastard Nixon resigned, waved

bye-bye, and jumped on that helicopter. Was totally PISSED to

see Ford say that he had pardoned him.

Yeah, yeah, he didn't want the " National Nightmare " to go on and

on through years of court and all. I do get that. But he should

have made Nixon spend a day in prison for every day he had spent

as President, and THEN he would get his pardon! Yup, 5 or 6 years

in prison would have evened things up in my mind.

It would have shown that no one is above the law, and that resorting

to such methods to win an election would be dealt with severely.
