The DOCband people are orthotists too. They do not have medical degrees (MD).

But is the clinician the same as an orthotist? I thought they were orthotists or PTs, because they do the fittings, adjustments, and tort stuff.

The cranial facial is the specialist that gave us the referral to CT.

No - I am not sure how it works where you are. But to get to CT my pedi had to refer me to a cranial facial (or a neurosurgeon) and then I had to get the referral from that person to CT. Otherwise the CT here in Los Angeles won't see me. So the only reason I saw this specialist guy was for a piece of paper to get an appt. with CT

no they are not the same. The orthotist deals with the band and adjusting them. The cranio specialist is like DR. Singhal. He prescribes the bands, orders scans, diagnoses plagio, cranio. He also does surgery if necessary. I know he said he could correct Jenna's ear that sticks out a bit when she got older if needed. I am not sure what the DOCband people are called. I do not think they are cranio specialists though. Someone please correct me if i am wrong.

oh here you can just call and get an free evaul at ct but it ws a pt that saw corbyn i am sure she sees alot of babys but i wondered if maybe she wasnt the best person to look at his head and decide? oh i am sure his head is fine i cant keep worrying about soemthing i cant change anyhow
