All of my stitches dissolved. It feels EXACTLY the same as before the surgery, except a little worse b/c of the scar tissure. It is the exact pain as before!!! What the hell is going on? I know that the doctors give us this time frame that we are suppose to be better in. I think they lean on the optomistic side. My recovery is takeing longer then they said too, but I am making progress. Everyone heals differently. If you feel like you do now in 3 months I would definatly talk to your doctor about it. I'm sorry I dont remember, does your doctor have you taking estrace cream? That has helped alot for me as I recover with the tissue. The doctor gave me some med grade steriod cream as a maintenence thing for my LS and for the scar tissue. I kind of massage it into the areas where the scar tissue is. I now have more pain than before because of the scar tissue. I have been to 2 more specialists and both of them tell me that further surgery would only create more scar tissue and more pain. Basically I have to live with it. I am seeing a PT who is trying to find ways for me to be able to cope with the pain better.
