Guest guest
For Those in the UK and Ireland, Eskimo-3 is a high quality product I would consider to be as close to Carlson's as you can get where you are. I don't know how this price compares with other stores there but you can research this (see search URL below). Eskimo-3 available here: http://www.thehealthstore.ie/product.php?intProductID=296 FYI, Yahoo allows you to search almost anywhere in the world. Here is the UK/Ireland search URL: http://uk.search.yahoo.com/ Regards, > Dear , > > > You said: > > > > Look out for this one it contains almost twice as much EPA & DHA > > compared to any other commercially available brand UK > > > > Lamberts High Potency Pure Fish Oil 1100mg > > 310mg EPA and 210mg DHA. > > > > > > If you can twist your GP's arm, especially true if you have raised > > triglycerides- > > > > he/she might prescribe OMACOR® > > > > Each one gram capsule of Omacor® (omega-3 acid ethyl esters) contains > > at least 900 mg of the ethyl esters of omega-3 fatty acids. Guest guest
Sorry guys, now I'm getting confused. The Omacor that my GP gives me is not good? I think thats what you are saying? I am off to google for Carlsons and eskimo-3, will let you all know if I find somewhere in the UK. Gee, I thought that was the only good thing my GP was doing Love Ya
Guest guest
** It looks like your GP was also fooled by the numbers. The better fish oil is a natural fish oil . The Omacor product is poorly assimilated (about 25% assimilation which means you're getting less EPA and DHA than with other non-ester fish oils). C > Sorry guys, now I'm getting confused. For anyone in the UK that is interested the link is http://www.nutricentre.com/pages/search.aspx?search- catalog=Products & search-phrase=eskimo+3 The Nutricentre are reliable, its where I get all my other supplements from!! Looks like I am changing to become an eskimo!!! With Love

Guest guest
, I'm taking BioCare - Omega Care Fish Oil Concentrate 4.8g providing 1050mg EPA and 750mg DHA per 5ml teaspoon. It says to take 1 to 4 teaspoons per day but I only take one. Is this okay ???? This form of fish oil is absorbed at only 25% of the natural fish oils (that's why the dose is higher -- it looks good and makes people think they're getting something more when they're not) and is more expensive than natural fish oils. Carlson's is not available there? -- Regards, To help you stay safe and secure online, we've developed the all new Yahoo! Security Centre. Guest guest
Hi , You should be taking 3-4 tsp a day. Work your way up to it, if necessary, but don't skimp on the fish oil! Guest guest
Thanks Kim Isn't 1050mg EPA in one teaspoon too much, let alone 3/4 tsp per day ??k_denise1111 wrote: Hi , You should be taking 3-4 tsp a day.
