Ditto!!!!CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!I thought I felt a little rumbling up North

I forgot to add this last note in my email. I've been to several

conferences etc. and picked up catalogues (from HARC) from Sentech Systems

in Mississauga, (905)564-7411. Unfortunately my catalogue is 1997 but I

called them and they have new ones available. The other two resources I use

are Union Hearing Aid in Toronto (ask for Nic) they are dealers and might be

able to recommend products they see frequently - good and bad. This is

where we go for all our hearing aid needs, molds, etc. as they specialize

with referrals from Sick Kids. #(905)364-2264. Also, the company which did

a presentation last year at a Parent Meeting is Leckie Hearing Services in

Richmond Hill. (905)883-1665. He brought different models of alarms, and

products to show us. He also had info. about Sentech Systems.

Pat:

I am soooooooo sorry about the get-together. In the CBDRA board meeting

I think May they talked about it and the last meeting in June, no one

would give the " the floor " , (parent who is on the Board of

Directors) I put several calls into her since your last 2 e-mails, but

her answering machine picked up. She is in Seagrave ONt. near you if

you want to give her a call too, the # is . Sorry but I

don't have her e-mail. The CBDRA has a plan that a smaller group or

" social committe " will organize and delegate, such as our great weekend

at DEERHURST in April that was only $50.00 for the parents. At the

board meeting tryed to discuss the plan for the summer trip on

TORONTO ISLAND and ask for the $$$$, (we were also going to get food in

so no one had to WORK) In the meeting they kept putting her off to

speak, and then finally said, " We'll put this on the agenda for July. "

Well she wanted the get-together in July!!!!!! Then she said under her

breath, I guess we'll plan it for August. The July Board meeting was

subsequently cancelled a week before in July. There are some very

STRONG people on the Board.

I should not have said anything to the list until I was sure the had a

date. It will happen but who knows when, they move soooo slowly.

I will attatch also the e-mails concerning the CHARGE foundation. I

also will send to Angie in Eastern Ontario, as she did inquire. As you

can guess I keep myself busier then I ought. I'll let you know when I

hear more.

By the way, did you get REGISTRY information OK to fill out? I re-sent

it to the list. Stan is in Ottawa this week and will have more info.

about the GRANT $$$$$.
