Guest guest
Hi all, I've not been around for ages.........I see Tina and have popped in recently as well. (Good to " see " you. :-) Would like to add to their sentiments for those just beginning the struggle. I can't even remember when I first came to the list - maybe last year after Paxil? I've been on too many psychotropics to count, up to ten at a time, had gotten off of eight of them before finding out there was a much better way to go about it. Have spent the better part of a year taking a break from the actual withdrawal from the last two drugs I'm still on. My body was/is so compromised from drugs, not eating, etc, that I had to work on getting in better shape before I could proceed. I've had some setbacks, haven't followed the healing protocols to a " t " at all times, and have had many periods during which I've allowed emotion to rule. (Many kudos to Kim, Shel, Ros.......) But overall, I am doing much better now, have been eating solid food for quite some time (and keeping it down), and despite some " difficult " life changes, have pretty much stayed the course. A year or so ago, I wasn't sure I could live another year. Started reducing Klonopin over a week ago, and so far, so good. What a delight - to withdraw having manageable symptoms - so manageable, they're not even worth thinking about. Still a long way to go, but for all of you thinking there isn't, there is that proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. I guess we all have to find it in our own way, on our own schedule, but sometimes for me at least, it helps to hang onto the words of those who've gone before me. Many thanks to all who've helped me along the way (many of you unnamed), and of course to for providing this vast amount of information and hope. Take care, everyone, DL

Guest guest
Wow, this is wonderful news. Glad to hear that you are doing so well. I have seen some marked improvements, but still battling on a daily basis, and cant say that my symptoms arent worth mentioning yet, cant wait til I get there. My mood is probably the single most worse thing to have to deal with, when its better everything else is much easier to handle, Im feeling that hopeless mood today and some of yesterday, but I just keep on praying, and telling myself positive stuff even when I dont believe it. Good to hear from you. You deserve only good things after going through this hell. Tinadeerlodge321 wrote: Hi all,I've not been around for ages.........I see Tina and have popped in recently as well.
